Comedian Nikki Glaser was one of the thousands of people meant to be in attendance at Taylor Swift's Vienna Eras Tour.

Swift was set to take to the stage for three consecutive nights in the Austrian capital, however was forced to cancel all three shows after authorities uncovered an alleged plot to launch an attack on an event in the area.

Despite the disappointment on missing out on the record breaking Eras Tour, Glaser said that Swift "made the right call."

The comedian spoke with Variety over a zoom call from her hotel room in Vienna. She shared that she was on her way to Austria with her boyfriend, sister and her sister's husband when she got the news the show had been cancelled.

"I was like 'Oh my god the worst thing that could ever happen happened,' and they were like 'Our flight was cancelled?' and I was like 'Worse'," she told the publication.

"I was just despondent," Glaser said of how she was feeling the moment she found out.

"I did not even think about my safety even once," she added. "I was just like 'I don't get to see Taylor!' It was such a selfish thought. I'm obviously so glad everyone is safe and she made the right call."

But despite missing out on the show in Vienna, Glaser emphasised that "no one should really feel bad for me" since she has already seen the show 17 times.

"I follow Taylor on tour as much as I follow myself on tour," she shared. "Any time I'm not touring, I find where she is and I go. It's my favorite thing to do, I'm kind of addicted to it. So I was devastated."
