I’m glad so many of you enjoyed Krillion! I hit a score of 360 yesterday, which has been highest so far. I also hope those of you who were interested in the Read Receipts podcast were able to find it and listen.

Time is marching on and we’ve hit November. Only two more months in 2026. I feel like this year has been a bit of a rollercoaster. But to be honest, it’s been a marked improvement to the latter half of 2025 (at least for me personally).

Definitely on the fence though if I’ll be glad to see 2026 in my rearview or not. Also, I hope everyone was able to exercise their civic duty yesterday (whether by visiting a polling place or participating in early voting)!

…

Author Rainbow Rowell has revealed that she has written under the pseudonym Rebecca Morrow. Morrow is the author of Corinne, a work of literary fiction that falls very close to her own experiences.

…

Thriller writers were asked about what’s the most disturbing thing in their search history right now.
