Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke were one of the It couples of the late '90s and early 2000s.
The pair were both successful in their own right; Uma is known for films including Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, Hawke for Dead Poets Society and Training Day.
The former couple met on set of the 1997 film Gattaca, but it wasn't to last. They married in 1998, but split in 2003 and finalised their divorce in 2005.

However, the marriage produced two children, Maya Hawke, 26, and Levon Hawke, 22, who have now followed in their creative footsteps.
Hawke has since welcomed two younger daughters with wife Ryan Shawhughes. Thurman, who was previously married to Harry Potter star Gary Oldman, went on to welcome a daughter with ex-fiancé Arpad Busson.

Both Maya and Levon inherited their famous parents' creative genes.
Maya is an actress and singer who first appeared in the BBC adaptation of Little Women.
One of her biggest roles is in the hit series Stranger Things, portraying the character Robin Buckley.
She has also starred in Do Revenge, Maestro and Inside Out 2, voicing the anxiety character.

She released her third album, titled Chaos Angel, this year.
Recently, she worked with her father on the film Wildcat.
Speaking to Variety, Hawke said the film was Maya's brainchild.
"Put simply, I'm a nepo dad!" he told the publication.

The star also revealed the moment he knew Maya was going to be an actress and follow in his and her mother's footsteps.
He once took her to the tech rehearsals for a Shakespeare stage production he was directing, and she watched it twice – even when he thought it would be "insanely boring" for her.
"If you want to watch a Shakespeare play dress rehearsal two times in a row when you are 12… that's what you're going to do with your life," he told Variety.
Maya also implied to The Guardian that her famous parents had trepidations when she first pursued an acting career.
"They wanted to ensure I had a strong enough backbone, my own passion for it and work ethic," she said.
What does Levon do?
Levon is set to make his directing debut next month, according to Page Six.
A new theatre show called Picture Day that he wrote will reportedly open in New York next month.
Levon, who studied at university, also has an acting credit in Wildcat. He's next to appear in Blink Twice and The Thicket.

Reflecting on the role recently, Levon shared a selfie he took with Dinklage while on set and in character.
"The Thicket coming out September 6th !! Had the most wonderful and freezing time of my life working on this brutal wild western thriller of a movie. Trailer comin soon !!" he wrote.
