Data show India yielded to U.S. curbs on oil imports

Though the government says that energy sourcing is based on “national interest”, India slashed oil imports from Venezuela, Iran, and Russia in the past following U.S. pressure, but immediately resumed sourcing crude from these sources after the curbs eased
