Anthropic's cryptanalysis results on HAWK and AES show AI can now understand existing cryptanalysis results, turn them into new attacks, and even extend them — Yesterday Anthropic published two new cryptanalysis results, both outputs of Claude Mythos, their (still) unreleased advanced model.
